
Vincent Doumerc takes over the top job.
The Fressnapf | Maxi Zoo Group announces the appointment of Vincent Doumerc as the new Chief Executive Officer of Maxi Zoo France. He succeeds Jan Wejbrandt, who has been at the helm of the French subsidiary for 13 years. As CEO of Maxi Zoo France and a new member of the group executive committee, Doumerc will be responsible for steering the company's growth strategy in France, the company states in a press release.
On 1 March, Doumerc officially took up his position as CEO and simultaneously joined the group's executive committee. This appointment marks a further step in the development of Fressnapf | Maxi Zoo in France: as the country's representative on the group's executive committee, Doumerc will play a key role in accelerating the company's strategy. His arrival represents a further step forward in the ongoing transformation of the group's governance, which aims to strengthen international expansion and execute the European growth strategy in a consistent and harmonised manner.
Vincent Doumerc brings extensive managerial experience gained in international retail. He has held management positions at TotalEnergies and Yum! Restaurants International. More recently, he spent four years as CEO of Franprix within the Casino Group. His leadership style – based on clarity, customer focus and operational excellence – combines strategic vision with pragmatic implementation. In his new role, he will be responsible for defining and deploying the growth strategy in France, thereby strengthening one of the Group's most important markets.
